Hi, I’m Laura.

I am a Head of Group HR that is passionate about making workplace culture more human.

With experience across fast-paced operational and manufacturing environments, I’ve worked closely with leaders, managers and employees to navigate the real challenges that come with people management, workplace culture and organisational growth. My background in HR and people leadership has given me valuable insight into what truly impacts employee experience,  from communication and leadership behaviours to wellbeing, engagement and workplace relationships.

I’m passionate about creating workplaces where people feel valued, supported and able to thrive, while also recognising the realities and pressures businesses face every day. Too often, conversations around culture, leadership and wellbeing can feel overly corporate or disconnected from real working environments. I created this platform to bring a more honest, practical and relatable voice to those conversations.

Through content, speaking, workshops and writing projects, I share insights and experiences around workplace culture, leadership, employee wellbeing, confidence and modern HR,  without the corporate fluff.

My focus is on helping businesses build stronger workplace cultures through practical, people-first leadership and honest workplace conversations that genuinely connect with people.

Alongside my professional work, I’m passionate about personal growth, wellbeing and empowering others to feel more confident in both their careers and everyday lives. I believe strong workplace cultures are built through authenticity, communication and treating people like humans, not just employees.
